We are writers and artists, community activists and people of all trades. We are Sebastopol.
And this June – June 17th, 2017 – we are opening our doors to you to view, hear and taste what we’ve been creating. There will be readings in bookstores by seasoned writers, emerging poets and writers on stage in a beer garden and a range of written works in progress read out loud for the first time in a cafe. New art will be on display in cool galleries and hip retail venues with the artists on hand. For the ‘Crawl’ part, specials will be offered in pubs and cafes, coffee houses and tasting rooms along the route.
And at the end of the day, a documentary film about an artist/activist will screen with the filmmaker and this remarkable woman in the house eager to hear your questions.
For this one Saturday in June, our town is one, alive and vibrant from Main Street through The Barlow and back again. Free for the curious and engaged, the lovers and the passersby.
